NOA Python Client

Operate your NOA platform from Python on your computer: load a compatible FPGA design, access registers, configure I/O and collect data without opening Jupyter or a browser.

Your computer Target
Python script / terminal --network--> Rexys-provided PYNQ image
noa-client Target services + FPGA design

Source code and executable examples remain in the noa-client repository. These guides describe version 0.1.0, reviewed against commit 4415f39.

  1. Install and connect.
  2. Load a design and access registers.
  3. Configure analog outputs and digital I/O.
  4. Acquire data and stream inputs.

Also see commands and examples, the API reference, and troubleshooting.

You need the Rexys-provided PYNQ image for your board, a network connection, and a compatible .bit bitstream with its matching .hwh hardware handoff file for FPGA operations. Signals and peripherals depend on the loaded design and hardware configuration.

A separate Python API

Install the client in its own environment on your computer. The noa package used by the PYNQ drivers runs on the target and has a different API.
